This project was developed for Saywood Studio, an independent fashion brand led by founder and designer Harriet Saywood-Bellisario, centred on luxury wardrobe essentials crafted with a commitment to sustainability, quality materials, and thoughtful design made in the UK.
The assignment included visual documentation of a pop-up store on Regent Street in London,  a high-visibility setting that served as a temporary retail platform for Saywood’s ready-to-wear collections, and the production of fashion films for seasonal drops. These two formats required distinct visual strategies while maintaining coherence with the brand’s identity.
Capturing the pop-up store involved working within a dynamic public retail environment, balancing architectural and spatial context with moments of interaction between visitors and garments on display. The imagery sought to convey both the physical presence of the brand and the tactile qualities of the garments.
For the fashion films, the approach emphasised movement, texture, and pacing to reflect Saywood’s design philosophy. Working closely with light, composition, and rhythm, the pieces aimed to communicate subtle narrative qualities of the collections.
Across both photography and film, the visual direction prioritised an observational and human-centred tone that aligns with Saywood’s concept: garments conceived for longevity, expression, and mindful wardrobe choices.
