In partnership with the brazilian agency Oxi gênio Ilhabela, the project aimed to capture the interplay between Aquileia’s ancient Roman soils and Grado’s maritime light, creating a parallel with the Ilhabela island in the São Paulo region, Brazil. The production balanced landscape, architectural and terroir context with intimate moments within the cellar and vineyards.
Across both photography and film, the visual direction prioritised a personal, documentary-led tone. Working closely with natural light, texture, and rhythm, the imagery sought to translate Valpa Nera’s traditional winemaking and profound sense of place into an engaging narrative for a new digital audience.
